- Cove Premium lists a lifetime equipment warranty, a two-year camera warranty and a $5 monthly equipment credit. Plus has different warranty and storage benefits.

Equipment cost is separate. The upfront Value option has no long-term monitoring term; Affirm financing is a separate agreement. Legacy Economy accounts can retain an equipment balance. Canceling service does not settle an equipment loan.
Before choosing a package
- Write down the equipment. Get the exact hub, sensor quantities and camera models, with equipment, installation and shipping itemized. A monitoring rate is not the full system price.
- Confirm the monthly bill. Cove’s support page documents a $3 credit-card payment fee. Ask whether your quoted total already includes it; do not add it twice. Payment-method fee.
- Check the return requirements. Cove’s terms require notice and shipment within 60 days of purchase, return authorization, and all required items, including promotional equipment. Return-shipping charges can apply. Read section 13 of Cove’s return terms.
Confirm camera warranty coverage: the plan guide lists two years for Premium cameras, while the general terms describe a one-year camera warranty. Get the warranty for your specific camera and plan in writing. Warranty terms, section 15.

This review has not measured Cove and ADT response times or monitoring outcomes. Compare covered events, communication backup, service terms and the written equipment quote. A monitoring-center certification is not proof that two providers deliver identical service quality.

What is Cove's Lifetime Equipment Warranty?
The plan guide lists a lifetime equipment warranty for Premium, two years for Premium cameras and one year for Plus equipment. Lifetime coverage requires keeping a qualifying service plan; canceling after the initial limited-warranty period ends that coverage. However, Cove’s general terms describe a one-year camera warranty. Ask Cove to confirm the warranty for your exact camera and plan in writing; coverage has conditions and exclusions.

Storage depends on the camera. Cove’s Outdoor Solar Cam documentation lists a microSD slot supporting a card up to 256 GB, as well as cloud storage. Confirm the selected camera, recording mode and service; a local option should not be generalized to every Cove camera.

App access requires a Cove account and an eligible service plan. Alarm cellular communication also depends on supported equipment, power and coverage; camera internet requirements are separate.
