Price the cameras, alarm hub, sensors and accessories you actually need. A camera pack alone is not a complete alarm system. Professional monitoring requires the Arlo Home Security System, an active Smart Secure or Ultra Secure plan, and service setup in the Arlo app.
Key equipment facts
New plan names: On September 15, Arlo renamed Secure Plus to Smart Aware, Secure Premium to Smart Secure, and Premium with 24/7 Recording to Ultra Secure. Arlo says the rename does not change existing subscription prices. Arlo’s plan-change notice.
Annual billing means one yearly charge. The monthly equivalent below is for comparison; it is not a monthly payment. These advertised US rates are before tax, and each location needs its own plan. Check the exact charge shown for your account before subscribing.

A separate prepaid offer: Arlo’s 12-month Smart Secure code is listed at $299.88 as final sale, with no refunds, returns or exchanges. That product page still lists 30 days of video history; the general plan page lists 60. Confirm the recording period and redemption terms before buying this offer. It is not the annual subscription price used above.
Monitoring needs more than cameras: Smart Secure and Ultra Secure include the service tier, but professional alarm monitoring requires the Arlo Home Security System and setup. A cloud-recording plan or an emergency-response button alone is not the same as an armed, monitored alarm system. Professional monitoring requirements.
Before choosing Ultra Secure: Its 24/7 recordings have 30-day history and cannot be downloaded. It supports up to three compatible cameras per location, requires AC power and sufficient upload bandwidth, and excludes video doorbells. Arlo Pro and Ultra series also require a compatible SmartHub or Base Station for this feature. Check the 24/7 recording requirements.

Cancellation
Before subscribing, check the renewal date, cancellation method and refund treatment for the billing option you choose. An annual monthly-equivalent price is not a monthly bill. Do not assume cancelling creates a prorated refund.
